Google introduces search console insights for content improvement
Great content has continued to rule the space in creating brand awareness, marketing, excellent customer experience and growing business. Whether it is a questionnaire, blog post, infographics or videos, there are a myriad ways to play with content.
Google has recently introduced Search Console Insights to help content curators and creators in getting deeper understanding of what resonates with the audience better. This new experience aims at combining data from Google Analytics and Search Console so as to understand the performance of content better. The new update shall kick off in upcoming days.
Search Console Insights for better content performance
The new experience rolled out by Google aims at answering certain questions like which one is the trending content or the best-performing one, how are new content pieces doing with the audience, what are the sources through which your audience reaches to your content, what are the organic search results that land people to your content, and more.
Accessing Search Console Insights
Google, in their blog explains how the insights can be accessed. The Overview Page of Search Console gives access to the insights. In Google App on iOS, the account menu needs to be tapped to access Search Console Insights.
Google search console is also accessible directly through the site, and it can be bookmarked for quick entry.
Linking Google Analytics with Search Console
Google enables using search console even without Google analytics. However, it suggests linking the two to get full-stack experience. Google says, “Please note that for now, Search Console Insights only supports Google Analytics Universal Analytics properties, but we’re working to support Google Analytics 4”.
